Dewberry Farms

Our first trip to a real pumpkin patch!! The Dewberry Farms is a true farm, in true Texas style. With hay rides, pumpkin fields, goats, and a 6-acre corn maze. Only in Texas would it be hot enough to eat an ice cream sandwich in late October.

Mothers Day Weekend Trip

The family took off Thursday for San Antonio. The trip started with a touch of home, although seeing whales in the heart of Texas was a little weird...

The kids loved seeing Shamu (prob. 20th generation Shamu), Maddi was in awe of the "big fish" as she said......Little guy loved the Happy Feet penguins....

Exhausted

After Seaworld the kids were exhausted....We checked into the local Hotel for the night, where the kids had a blast, they slept in the same bed for the first time, sibling bonding, as the little guy made sure she was okay, but of course before bed time we had to have some fun.............

It was a cool site, thinking this is where some of my KIN may have faught.........

River Walk

We took a tour of the river walk, it was a nice $20 ride. The whole time I was thinking of that movie with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, the bus guide guy, cracking jokes...funny.....

Relaxing

After the Alamo & River Walk, we checked into the La Cantera Hotel. This place was awesome. Pools everywhere for the kids, arcade room for the kids (I played a few games too), Golf course (Valero Open course), restaurants, SPA for mom....We had a blast, the kids now somewhat resemble me with their dark skin......I got to play golf, mom got a SPA treatment, kids had smores every night by the pool, the workers would make a fire and all the kids lined up for smores.....Maddi loved her chocolate chip pancakes.........Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there.......

LIVESTRONG

Lil man had a fundraiser at his school. Family members sponsored him per lap, and he pulled out 23 of em...........rockin his Buzz Lightyear helmet and neon green bike the kid was a terror on the track..........

Maddi had a special dinner with Spiderman, Dad approved because of the dudes superhero powers.............

Bond Builder

My wife and I completed the MS150 Houston to Austin bike ride. Thsi was my 2nd year, and Traceys first. She was awesome, never got off the bike besides for snacks and out house time......Thanks to everyone who helped with our fundraising efforts.......
